SUPPORTING CHILDREN AND ADULTS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS

Mon. 2:30-4:00 (Limit 15)

This course provides an overview of the characteristics, nature, and needs of children and adults identified with Special Needs. The Information Processing theory will be used as the foundation on which RISE students can design 1 or 2 effective strategies that could be used to help a loved one develop a new skill. The new skills will be designed to accommodate your loved one's preferred learning style.

Facilitator: Diane Connell
