A man and musician of many interests and talents, Stephen Sondheim is best known as the lyricist and composer/lyricist of numerous Broadway theatrical presentations, including lyrics for West Side Story and Gypsy, and both music and lyrics for shows such as A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Company, Follies, A Little Night Music, Pacific Overtures, Sweeney Todd, and others. In addition to covering his own works, we will talk about the sources of his inspirations and his collaborations.
