KLIMT is an Austrian painter, (7.14.1862 - 2.06.1918), son of a gold engraver. Famous painting you may know, THE KISS, oil on canvas. "There is nothing remarkable about me" stated Klimt, "I am a painter, one who paints every day from morning to evening.” He and his brother Ernest collaborated to promote their work, receiving prestigious commissions and wide recognition.
